The National Taxpayers Union sent a letter to Congress signed by 313 economists (including a Nobel Laureate) who unanimously agree that extending all the Bush tax cuts is what our economy currently needs. The economists concluded that "[i]f Congress allows heavier taxes on work and investment, we will undoubtedly see less of both at a time when they are needed most."
Makes sense, doesn't it? But then again, Obama's tax policies aren't based on facts or economics but on politics and fairness.
