What a JOKE

What a joke.  The United Nations is having a little pow-pow session in New York right now.  I will give you a brief synopsis:

  • Iran demands a seat on the Board of the UN Nuclear Agency .. the same agency that is investigating his attempts to make a nuclear bomb.  Based on the UN's history, Iran will probably get its way.  After all, we are talking about the same body that placed Sudan on the Human Rights Commission while engaged in a effort to ethnically cleansing in its Darfur region

  • Barack Obama makes a speech on the need for "shared prosperity" around the world.  Espousing Marxist dogma .. that's about what Obama's presidency has come to.  Let's help other countries become prosperous ... but we don't need to give them ours.

  • UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon preaches that we need to end political polarization.  He says, "We hear the language of hate, false divisions between `them' and `us,' those who insist on `their way' or `no way."  Oh yeah ... there's that "hate" thing again.  Remember, "hate speech" or "the politics of hate" would be any utterance challenging standard liberal Democrat dogma.

  • Then, the mad Mullah of Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad gets up to the podium and accuses the United States orchestrating the attacks of 9/11 as an attempt to assure Israel's survival.  Apparently he must have missed Ban Ki-moon's speech on the need to end the "them" versus "us" mentality.  Luckily the US delegation left, so as to not show respect for this guy's drivel.

Yet this is the agency through which we pour billions of dollars every year for humanitarian purposes?  Again, what a joke.
