Of Communists and Cowards – Time for a Primary Purge

“The Constitution is the guide which I never will abandon.” - George Washington
America is out of time.  The Democrat Party is now embracing Statism, which is about as anti-American, anti-Freedom, and anti-Constitution as one can get.  Many are Communists and/or are supported by the Communist Party (e.g. Barrack Obama) They will continue to press “Forward” for their control over the people and business by ignoring our Constitution. They have abandoned the Rule of Law in favor of Rules for Radicals. Lies and Deception have become their standard operating procedure. Most are Utopians without a clue, while all are extremists in their ideology.
With but a few exceptions, the Republican Party is full of RINOs (Democrats) and cowards.  The RINOs must be replaced in the Primaries for obvious reasons. The Cowards however acquiesce to the Statists that are Fundamentally destroying America. This lack of conviction to principle and oath demonstrates their lack of love for our Country and Freedom. They too must be replaced since sustained retreat is a winning strategy for losing.
All have taken an oath to support and defend the Constitution yet most have failed, either directly by their action against it or indirectly by their inaction to defend it. Those that break their oath to the American people must suffer the consequence – the least of which removal from office.
If we hope to save our Constitution (and thus Country and Freedom) we must put Constitutionalists into our primaries for 2014.  Take control of your Precinct . Failure is not an option.
Finally, we must have fair elections. We must start demanding now proof from our local officials that there will be vote integrity and voter ID locally. We must also establish locally a method of vote verification (that can be referenced before, during, and after the election) in each district. This process needs to start now.
Some things to consider asking Primary Candidates:
  1. FOR: Protecting and Adhering to our Constitution & The Bill of Rights.
  2. FOR: Abiding by Rule of Law
  3. OPPOSE: Obamacare – Will do everything possible to abolish it.
  4. FOR: Nullifying all of Obama’s Executive Order’s (important for 2016)
  5. OPPOSE: Sharia Law of any kind
  6. OPPOSE: PRISM
  7. FOR: Reducing the size of Federal Government
  8. FOR: National Sovereignty
  9. FOR: Securing our Borders
  10. FOR: Term Limits for Congress
  11. FOR: Fiscal Responsibility
  12. OPPOSE: Political Correctness
  13. OPPOSE: Class Warfare
  14. OPPOSE: Redistribution of wealth
  15. FOR: A Strong, Free Market
  16. FOR: A Strong, properly funded Defense
  17. FOR: Restoring NASA
  18. FOR: Flat Tax (open to Fair Tax)
  19. OPPOSE: Amnesty
  20. FOR: Voter ID
  21. FOR: Ending the Dept. of Education (only 35 years old)

  27. FOR: Self Reliance and Self Respect
  28. FOR: Opening up drilling on Public Land
  29. FOR: Removing unnecessary Federal Regulations on business
  30. FOR: Repealing NDAA Section 21.
  31. FOR: Reducing size, cost, and role of DHS to border and air-traffic security only.
  32. OPPOSE: Targeting of American citizens by the IRS or any other agency.
  33. FOR: Restoring National Pride and Unity
  34. FOR: America

Seven Big Lies Obama Told In His State Of The Union Speech

I know what you’re thinking – just seven? Actually most of Obama’s speech was filled with the same old platitudes and empty rhetoric that bellows out of all politicians, right or left. Here are seven lies he told.

1) Income inequality is the worst it’s ever been!

Obama sayeth, “[T]oday, after four years of economic growth, corporate profits and stock prices have rarely been higher, and those at the top have never done better. But average wages have barely budged. Inequality has deepened. Upward mobility has stalled. The cold, hard fact is that even in the midst of recovery, too many Americans are working more than ever just to get by; let alone to get ahead.”
There’s all sorts of wrong going on here, but here’s one of the bigger ones – “income inequality” was worse in 2000 and in 2007. But if you adjust the rate for the massive taxation the government does and the redistribution of wealth already underway, income equality is the same as it was in 1987. It’s pretty easy to make the case that the only reason Obama pretends it’s a sudden crime that needs to be addressed right now is that Obamacare is such a disaster that needs to be ignored.

2) Raising minimum wage will help families

Obama sayeth, “[We] have a bill to fix that by lifting the minimum wage to $10.10… This will help families. It will give businesses customers with more money to spend… So join the rest of the country. Say yes. Give America a raise.”
It’s not hard to believe that Obama, who has never run a business, doesn’t understand that artificially forcing a business to pay someone more than their wage is worth will put more people out of the labor market. Making job creation more expensive leads to fewer jobs.

3) His minimum wage hike for federal workers brings immediate relief

Obama sayeth, “In the coming weeks, I will issue an executive order requiring federal contractors to pay their federally funded employees a fair wage of at least $10.10 an hour, because if you cook our troops’ meals or wash their dishes, you shouldn’t have to live in poverty.”
But most employees of federal contractors earn more than the minimum wage, so this will apply to only about 10% of those, or 200,000 employees. Finally, this wage hike won’t apply until 2015 at the earliest, and even then, only for new contracts, not old ones.

4) How many Americans have gained insurance under Obamacare?

Obama sayeth, “More than 9 million Americans have signed up for privatehealth insurance or Medicaid coverage.”
But in fact, five million Americans have lost insurance, meaning that this number is not a net gain. In other words, the vast majority already had insurance before Obamacare. As few as 11% might be new enrollments to Obamacare. Finally, the payment system for the federal Obamacare website isn’t completed; who knows how many of these will experience more “glitches.”

5) Obama will cut red tape that’s holding up construction jobs!

Obama sayeth, “we’ll need Congress to protect more than 3 million jobs by finishing transportation and waterways bills this summer.  But I will act on my own to slash bureaucracy and streamline the permitting process for key projects, so we can get more construction workers on the job as fast as possible.”
But what’s actually holding back these projects is lack of money, not red tape. Joshua Schank of the think tank Eno Center for Transportation explains:
“The reason most of these projects are delayed is they don’t have enough money. So it’s great that you are expediting the review process, but the review process isn’t the problem. The problem is we don’t have enough money to invest in our infrastructure in the first place.”
Perhaps if Obama hadn’t squandered what was supposed to go towards infrastructure in his stimulus bill on green energy boondoggles and other crony capitalist schemes, there might have been more money to fund these projects. Nevertheless, not only hasn’t Obama created “shovel-ready jobs,” he has actually lost 720,000 of them in the Construction field.

6) Your medicare premium went up? You’re making that up!

Obama sayeth, “because of this (health care) law, no American can ever again be dropped or denied coverage for a preexisting condition like asthma, back pain or cancer… And we did all this while adding years to Medicare’s finances, keeping Medicare premiums flat, and lowering prescription costs for millions of seniors.”
That’s simply not true:
Although the basic premium remained the same this year at $104.90, it increased by $5 a month in 2013, up from $99.90 in 2012. Obama’s health care law also raised Medicare premiums for upper-income beneficiaries, and both the president and Republicans have proposed to expand that.
On paper, the program’s giant trust fund for inpatient care gained more than a decade of solvency because of cuts to service providers required under the health law. But in practice those savings cannot simultaneously be used to expand coverage for the uninsured and shore up Medicare.

7. Obama’s created 8 million new jobs in the last four years

This figure leaves out a lot of lost jobs early in Obama’s presidency and glosses over that this recovery has been the weakest since World War II. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, only a net gain of 2.4 million job have been added on Obama’s watch (this doesn’t account for population growth, leading to the lowest labor participation rate since 1978).
And just for fun…

8. Michelle is making fat kids thinner

Obama sayeth, “Michelle’s Let’s Move! partnership with schools, businesses, local leaders has helped bring down childhood obesity rates for the first time in thirty years, and that’s an achievement.” Ok, I can’t really prove this is a lie, it just sounds terribly stupid. Half of the kids in America are from families who reject the Obamas, and kids all around the country are rejecting Michelle’s crummy gruel and meager milk offerings.
Otherwise, experts cite increased breast-feeding and lower consumption of sugary drinks, which began in 1999 long before Michelle, as causes of the drop in obesity. But, if it is Michelle Obama’s doing, then she hates the poor, because most of the thinning out is among the wealthy.
You might think Obama might get into trouble for all these lies, but you’d be wrong – he’s a Democrat, remember? The media will barely mention these, or just ignore them all together. And for Americans who are too busy trying to get ahead in this terrible economy, tuning into The State of the Union address allows the president to solidify these misleading talking points in people’s minds.

Wrong About Rights and the Caveman Test

There’s a lot of talk going on about rights, - rights to healthcare, rights to affordable housing, rights to free contraception, rights of free speech, rights to bear arms, etc.  Rights are good.  Right?  Right.  It would seem then, that all the people in favor of all these rights would be on the same side.  Right?  Wrong.  How can this be?  Rights are good.  Rights are right.  Doesn’t everyone deserve all these rights?  Who’s wrong?  Who’s right?

Everyone is entitled to equal rights, but not everyone knows what rights are.  The Declaration of Independence states that we have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, and the constitution says, eh, the constitution says, the constitution says a lot of things.  Here is where the problem is.  Only a small percentage of people in this country have ever read the constitution and even a smaller percentage understand it.  Here’s a very, very brief and simplified explanation of it.

The constitution of the United States went into effect in 1789 and is mostly a bunch of stuff about how our federal government is to be set up and run.  There, you can’t get more brief and simple than that.  Now what about all this rights stuff?

Soon after and even before the constitution went into effect, many people thought there needed to be more stuff in the constitution than just that “how the federal government is to be set up and run” stuff.  They felt that the rights of the country’s citizens needed to be protected and rightly so.  They had just recently been in a big argument with England about that stuff.  So rather than starting over from scratch, they added to the constitution, first ten amendments, which we refer to as the bill of rights.

The fifth through the eighth amendments deal with prosecution, eminent domain, trials, bail, and other judicial stuff.  The tenth amendment says that any powers not expressly granted to the federal government by the constitution belong to the states and or people.
The third amendment says that citizens cannot be forced to feed and house soldiers in their homes and the fourth amendment prohibits unlawful search and seizure.

The first and second amendments are the ones we are all probably most familiar with.  They are what people are most often talking about to when they are legitimately referring to constitutional rights.  It’s the ninth amendment were things get murky.  It says that people may have other rights that are not listed in the constitution and just because they are not listed, it doesn’t mean that they can be violated.

So what is and what is not a right?  Is health care a right?  Is it one of those unlisted rights that the ninth amendment was referring to?  How can anyone know?

Setting aside the fifth through eight amendments, which deal mostly with our judicial process, I use what I call the “Caveman Test” to determine if something is indeed a right.  What I mean is this.  If someone claims that they have a particular right, I ask myself, “Would that person still have that right if they were a caveman?”

The Declaration of Independence says that we are endowed by our creator with rights that include life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.  This means people were born with these rights long before any government was created, and such rights exist always and everywhere regardless of the existence of any government.  True rights are independent of government.

A government cannot give anyone a right; it can’t even take a right away.  The worst a government can do is to violate rights and the best it can hope to do is to try and protect rights.  Our forefathers were smart enough to know this and defined rights as limitations on what the federal government could do.

There’s an additional benefit to using this criteria to determine if something is a right.  It saves (or least helps prevent the spending of) government money.  It doesn’t cost (or at least directly cost) anything to let people have the freedom of speech or let people own guns.  Financially speaking, health care is an open-ended question limited only by national bankruptcy.

Let’s put the Caveman Test to the test, and apply it to some of these so-called rights.  Is health care a right?  No.  Why?  Health care is a commodity, not an idea.  If healthcare were a right, you should theoretically be able to go back in time, before hospitals or doctors, in an area where there weren’t even any people, demand healthcare and receive it.  The same holds true for affordable housing, and don’t even mention the right to free contraceptives.

What about free speech?  Yes, that is a right.  As soon as the first language was developed, people were saying whatever they wanted, until the first tribal chiefs (government) arrived on the scene.  People have been fighting to protect that right ever since.

What about guns?  Cavemen didn’t have guns.  Wouldn’t this mean that we can’t own guns?  Well let’s look at the second amendment.  It doesn’t actually say, “We have the right to own guns.”  (“What?!!!”, all the NRA dudes are screaming.  “Yes!!!”, the gun control advocates are cheering.)  The second amendment says, “A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.”  The word gun is not even in it.  Why?

The first weapon was a rock.  You either threw it at an enemy or hit them with it.  Then came the club, and then the spear.  The guy with the rock was no match for the guy with the spear.  Even at time of the revolutionary war, weapons technology was rapidly evolving.   The proponents of this amendment knew that the guns of tomorrow would be vastly superior to the guns they had at that particular time.  They purposely left out any description of arms in the amendment, because they knew that limiting the people to revolutionary war style muskets would, in the future, leave them just as vulnerable to criminals and tyrannical governments as if they had no weapons at all.

Rather than describing what weapons the people could have, they wanted to prevent the government from infringing (read setting limitations) upon the peoples right to own them.  So much for the constitutionality of gun control laws.

Common Sense

Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who
has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was,
since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape.
He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as:
- Knowing when to come in out of the rain;
- Why the early bird gets the worm;
- Life isn't always fair;
- And maybe it was my fault.
Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend
more than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children,
are in charge).
His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but
overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a 6-year-old boy
charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens
suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher
fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition.
Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the
job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children.
Common Sense lost the will to live as the churches became businesses;
and criminals received better treatment than their victims.
Common Sense took a beating when you couldn't defend yourself from a
burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault.
Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to
realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap,
and was promptly awarded a huge settlement.
Common Sense was preceded in death,
-by his parents, Truth and Trust,
-by his wife, Discretion,
-by his daughter, Responsibility,
-and by his son, Reason.
He is survived by his 5 stepbrothers;
- I Know My Rights
- I Want It Now
-Someone Else Is To Blame
- I'm A Victim
- Pay me for Doing Nothing
Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gon

For the Two of You who Watched the State of the Union Speech Last Night

Here are the most Important Points you did not hear:
1. We made a Mistake attempting to Socialize the Finest Medical System in the World.  We must repeal it before it get’s any worse!
2. It’s Our Fault your Insurance Plan has been eliminated and to replace it with anything close will cost you 3-5 times more money.  Sorry about that.
3. Because of our Monetary Policy, and Soviet Style EPA regulations, Beef, Chicken, Pork, Eggs, Cheese and Milk prices have inflated to astronomical levels, but that’s OK because most of the Occupy Movement still has their parents buying their groceries. Oh, and hey, Rice is still pretty cheap… because we haven’t got that far yet.
4. The dollar you were barely able to save this year is now worth $.25 because we can never, never, never consider spending less so we just keep printing more money.
5. You’re Right.  We allowed that Diplomat and four special operators to die in Benghazi. But, At this point what difference does it make?  (This line should be delivered in a high-pitched screechy voice.)
6.  We do, in fact, conduct IRS audits on those of you who disagree with our Ideology.  So what?  You gonna to do somthin’ bout it?  That’s what I thought.
7.  The NSA will continue to collect as much data as possible on you even though you’ve never done anything wrong… because you just might.  Or we may want to date you.  Or refer to #6.
8.  Yes, it’s true, Barney Frank and Chris Dodd, with a little help from Bill Clinton, attempted to collapse our economy by forcing banks to lend money to people who could never pay it back.  It was so profoundly ignorant that we decided to allow Barney and Chris to write the bill to make things even worse.  Because that’s what we do up here.  Oh yeah, and my friend Barney just got a job as a contributor on CNBC!  I know!  It blew me away too!
9.  The DHS is exactly the Federally Controlled Domestic Armed Forces we were never supposed to have.  Ever.
10.  We have never read a single Bill… never.  In addition, we have no intention of doing so.  Frankly most elected official couldn’t point out what a bill looks like let alone tell you what’s in one.  So stop being ridiculous.
11.  When I tell you “I had No Idea that something was going on.”, I mean it.  I Really have No Idea about what goes on up here.  Seriously.  I Learn everything I know from CNN.  If it wasn’t for those guys and Anthony Bourdain I wouldn’t know where half of the 57 States were even located.  That Bourdain Guy is Cool isn’t he?  And Orca’s are in trouble!  Who knew?
12.  Finally, before we say goodnight I want to share with you, the American People, something we talk about often up here on the Hill.  You have suspected it for decades and it’s time to reveal it to you tonight for the first time!  We, the elected officials and particularly every unelected Bureaucrat in Washington, do indeed believe you folks are too stupid to make decisions for yourself… but we know you’re not watching anyway.  So, Good Night and God Bless.
Oh wait, wait, wait… hold on…  Raise the Minimum Wage!  War on Women! Immigration! Anyone who opposes me Hates Minorities… and Homosexuals!  And don’t forget, most of you are Racists.

Sailing into the Uncharted Waters of Legalized Marijuana

Just a few thoughts on the legalization of marijuana.

  • Up until now the debate has been largely hypothetical.  At least now, we might actually be able to find out who was right and who was wrong about legalizing pot.
  • It does seem to contradict everything that the government has told us so far.  It makes all the money and effort that spent on enforcing marijuana laws, and “educating” people about the dangers of marijuana seem a waste.
  • I do like the idea of all the people involved in the illegal marijuana trade. losing their source of income, and I like the idea of not spending money to enforce marijuana laws and prosecute people who have broken those laws.
  • What about all the people who were convicted for breaking marijuana laws in the past?  It’s almost like saying that they were wrongly convicted.
  • Never say never.  I never thought I’d see the day when you could legally smoke pot, but could not smoke cigarettes outside, in public places.  Something seems wrong with this to me.
  • Wasn’t half the fun of smoking pot, the fact that it was illegal?  I think somehow, some of the mystique will be lost.
  • How is this going to affect drug testing in the workplace?
  • If in the near future, someone accidentally causes the deaths of several or more people, and it can be proven that he was intoxicated by pot at the time of the accident, there’s going to be an uproar.
  • I got a bad feeling about this, like there must have been some reason that marijuana was illegal, and everyone forgot what it was.  I don’t know what it was, but I have a feeling that we are going to find out, all over again.
  • I wonder, in a few years when we’re all looking back at this with 20/20 hindsight, how many things will seem so obvious, that we are not fully able to appreciate now?

Making Citizenship Meaningless: Thoughts on the Coming Great Electoral Fraud

Our progressive friends make many predictions and promises. Most, of course, fall flat. Look, for example, at Obamacare. Where are those millions of deprived uninsured Americans yearning to have health insurance so they can get that desperately needed medical care now denied them? Where are those healthy youngsters desperate to get off their parents' insurance dime and to fork out their own cash for the high premium and high deductible plans offered by Obamacare? Wherever they are, they are not overwhelming the Obamacare exchanges with their plaintive petitions. We have a mystery worthy of Hercule Poirot.

The multi-decade, trillion-plus-dollar war on poverty was another great promise. According to the progressives' own numbers, however, more Americans are now poor or near-poor than ever with more than ever dependent on taxpayer largesse. This is the result of fifty years of war on poverty. The progressive solution? More of the same policies that have produced the current disaster, with the added twist of addressing a "new evil," i.e., unequal income distribution. It seems that more progressivism means more poverty--except for the bureaucrats and academics plugged into the programs.

There exists, however, one promise on which the current gang of progressives running and ruining our nation will deliver. We will see a massive electoral fraud in the 2016 elections, at the latest. The signs are there. This will be much beyond the ACORN phony voter registration, "vote early and often," and having the deceased cast ballots. This will be much bigger than that; it will be on a scale never seen in the US.

The plot underway is nothing less than to make US citizenship meaningless.

Before we get into that let's realize that that a hallmark of progressivism is to degrade any institution over which it obtains power. Be it in the name of fairness, equality, or the all purpose "righting of old wrongs," once progressive ideology and ideologues grab an institution, that institution becomes transformed and degraded as to make it almost unrecognizable. We have many examples of this, but perhaps none illustrates the process better than what has happened to higher education in the US and the West. A university degree has become as worthless as the education it certifies. Throughout the Western world we have legions of university graduates unqualified for anything gainful. They, however, are full of self-righteousness, arrogance, and a sense of entitlement. I doubt that today's average university graduate has the level of basic knowledge of the average high school graduate of 60-70 years ago.

Most universities have fallen under the rule of progressives, who reject the traditional canon of higher education and replace it with a mishmash of politicized courses on feminism, sexism, racism, whacky environmentalism, and so on. A good example is my old school the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA.) This once noble institution has eliminated the requirement for its English department grads to read Shakespeare for which they may substitute gender/race classes. In fact, they can now can graduate as UCLA English majors without reading Shakespeare, Chaucer, or Milton. You can read here the snarky defense of this absurd change by a progressive "education expert," who notes helpfully, that "single-author courses are tough to teach, and can be murder to take (guess what? Not everybody likes Chaucer enough to spend 15 weeks on him, and that’s OK.)" In other words, Chaucer is hard. Now, therefore, when ordering coffee at Starbucks, you will find that the "highly educated" barista operating the espresso machine cannot quote from "The Pardoner's Tale."

The universities underwent the classic progressive two-pronged attack now used on other institutions.  The progs bemoan the elitism and the bias against certain "victims" by the institution. The progs try with legislation, court rulings, street agitation, any means really, to modify admittance practices, and then once that is achieved to transform the institution into something else. Remember, for example, the debate over the voting age? "If you're old enough to get drafted, you're old enough to vote!" I always noted, of course, that women did not get drafted so that meant they either should or should not get the vote at eighteen. And what if you didn't get drafted? Anyhow, eighteen-year-olds got the vote; the draft got eliminated--eighteen-year-olds, however, still have the vote, as do women and draft-dodgers, one of whom even became President. The same process is underway with other traditional institutions such as marriage, the Boy Scouts and, of course, the military which is being subjected to social experimentation that has nothing to do with its core mission of defending the nation.

Now we see US citizenship under the same assault.

The Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security tells us that the eleven million or so illegal aliens in the US have earned the right to be citizens. Secretary Johnson states,

“An earned path to citizenship for those currently present in this country is a matter of, in my view, homeland security to encourage people to come out from the shadows, to be accountable, to participate in the American experience, the American society."
The good Secretary cannot tell us what exactly these people who have broken our laws have done to earn citizenship except to demonstrate an ability to defeat the half-baked efforts of our Keystone Kop immigration services to apprehend and deport them. It seems that being a successful outlaw did not form part of the citizenship test when my parents and my wife took it.  We see calls for amnesty and "pathways" to citizenship coming not only from the usual Democrats and their crony capitalist allies and lobbyists, but from the RINOs which populate the ranks of the GOP. We see lachrymose speeches about how an illegal alien who fought for our country in the military should have the right to become a citizen--these speakers "forget," of course, that, for now, it is illegal for an undocumented or a nonresident alien to enlist in the US military. We do not have Gurkhas. This is just a variation on the "if they're old enough to fight, they're old enough to vote." Bogus.

It gets worse. If it were "just" an effort to get citizenship and the benefits and obligations that go with it, it might earn a little more respect from me. It is nothing of the sort. It is a smokescreen for electoral fraud. Citizenship is under assault from another direction, as well. Voting I.D. Yes, that is the main weapon being used and the one which reveals what is really going on. Our Attorney General Eric "Fast and Furious" Holder tells us that his agency will be very vigilant on attempts by states to use voter identification requirements to "suppress" voter turn-out. The DOJ has been filing lawsuits against states with voter I.D. requirements, for example.) The justification? The progs conjure up an imaginary poor rural black too stupid, too poor, and living in such a remote place that he or she just cannot get valid state identification. Nonsense. First off, many states offer free identification cards, and, more important, poor, middle class, and rich black people have been getting valid identification documents for driving, buying property, getting bank loans, and voting for decades and decades--just like everybody else.  Progs have a Hollywood version of race in America which they sell to the willing media.

I have been an electoral observer in several elections overseas: Guyana, Guatemala, Bolivia, Panama, Sri Lanka, and Indonesia.  In addition, I have seen elections in other countries where I was living or temporarily working, e.g., Spain, France, Switzerland, Mexico, India. In all of them, voters had to prove their identity and citizenship. Only in the USA is this a controversy. The progs, as noted, use a two pronged attack; one seeks citizenship for illegal aliens and the other seeks ways for them, and resident aliens, to vote even without citizenship. The already lax regulations on official identification are being furthered loosened. In California, for example, the state now issues I.D. cards and driver's licenses to illegal aliens; in California, of course, as in many other states, one can register to vote when applying for a license or I.D. card. In addition, in California the state now licenses illegal aliens as lawyers and allows them to serve on juries. In virtually every state I can think of, illegal aliens already receive public benefits, including food stamps which the USDA advertises in Mexico. When I lived in northern Virginia during the 2008 elections, I can tell you from personal observation that ineligible people were voting without challenge. I also can say as a former election observer that I would have a hard time certifying US elections in much of the country as free and fair. Basically, almost anybody can vote, and it is getting easier and easier to do so.

We are going to see an effort at massive electoral fraud by 2016, at the latest. The manufactured "controversy" over voter I.D. and "pathways" to citizenship is really about getting millions of new Democratic voters casting ballots. It has nothing to do with black Americans, who demographically are in decline vis-a-vis other minority groups. To get this result, the progressives are more than willing to degrade the concept of citizen by making it available to just about anybody, while at the same time giving people without it the same rights and benefits.

The SOTU

I’m not gonna watch the State of the Union tonight. it’s gonna be another campaign speech by Obungler. One of the things he’s gonna read off his TelePrompTer will be inequality. One thing you can be sure of when a liberal progressive rat bastard commie starts speaking about inequality, he doesn’t mean lifting poor people up, but dragging rich people down so they can share the misery of all the poor people his policies have created. This will be a fairly long read so get a cup of coffee, kick back, and enjoy yourself. Here’s Ron interspersed with comments by me.
So, about one human gestation period from now, the US two-party system will spit up a lot of noise, spin up a lot of dust, and spit out a lot of money on candidates for the mid-term elections. Unless the mortally wounded ACA experiences a miraculous cure and the severely injured economy finds a wonder drug to shake off its persistent and massive Obaminfection, the House will remain in “conservative” hands.
You left out the Stupid Party screwing up and imploding like they are capable of doing. Missouri was a slam dunk for the Republicans defeating the odious Claire McCaskill until they nominated an idiot like Todd Akin. McCaskill was so intent on running against him that her campaign gave money to him during the Republican primary. And let’s not forget McRINO and his Minime Little Lindsay Graham. With “Republicans” like them who needs Dimocrats? Then they nominated Mitt Romney, who was far more qualified to be president than Obumbler, but was the only person who could not run against Obummercare since it was modeled after Romneycare.
Thirty-four (or maybe it’s thirty-five) Senate seats will be on the ballots, and in order to gain the majority there, Republicans need to pick up at least 6 more from the left than they have now. One might think that given the sluggish economy, the lack of trust in top-level leadership, and the dangerously low poll numbers for Oblamebush, that shouldn’t be particularly difficult.
Except for the Stupid Party. See Todd Akin and Christine O’Donnell.
If conservatives take the Senate and keep the House, El Precedente’s last two years of illegal residence in the White House will be very busy, and he’ll wear out that pen he’s so proud of vetoing a constant flood of bills rushing across the Oval Office desk designed to reverse the damages to the republic of his ill-advised policies and executive orders.
How’s that Arab Spring working out for ya? Benghazi? Quoth Thunder Rodent Thighs “What difference does it make?”
But if past history is any indicator, less than half the eligible voters will actually cast ballots, and most will vote out of habit, roughly 45% Democrat 45% Republican with the rest being non-aligned independents who will make up their minds based on the last paycheck, the last welfare check, or the last unemployment check.
I believe there are 6 red state Dimocrat senators up for reelection. I predict that at least three of them will be reelected even though they voted for Obummercare. Why? Keep reading.
In other words, although great numbers of people say we need to “throw the bums out,” what they really mean is “keep my guy and throw out all the other lousy bastards.” So although what I’d really like to watch is a referendum on Soetoro, I predict that what we’ll see (in addition to ballots from long-dead Democrats and “lost” absentee ballots and “faulty voting machines” in critical precincts) is a fairly close, almost too close to call, thumbs up on the status quo in much of the country.
And remember, Dimocrats will keep demanding recounts until they “find” enough votes for their candidate to win like with Gregoire in Washington and Franken in Minnesota. Then, there will be no more recounts. In Illinois, it’s the Dimocrats who steal elections. One of my friends told me that his father in Chicago voted Republican until he died. In the past three elections, he’s voted Dimocrat.
And that means, of course, a bright and steady green light for Hillary to damn the Benghazis and full speed into the arena. Meanwhile, the RNC will work feverishly to find a RINO to hem and haw and go through the motions of a campaign destined to lose in the end to DNC propaganda and smear tactics.
Remember, telling the truth about a Dimocrat politician is called Swiftboating in honor of Flipper’s peers in Viet Nam telling the truth about his military service. (Someone on the left has already called telling the truth about the new “feminist icon” Wendy Davis is Swiftboating.) By the way, where are those military records Flipper promised to share? Have you ever noticed that the LSM propaganda arm of the Dimocrat Party demands that Republican candidates share their tax records, academic records and everything else about their lives while giving Dimocrats a pass? Harry Reid demanded that Romney show us his tax records while refusing to make public his own tax records. Hypocrisy, they name is Horrible Harry. We knew more about Sarah Palin three weeks after McRINO made her his running mate than we’ll ever know about Oblunder. Electing a black president was much more important than actually finding anything out about him.
Several men over the past 50 years have made tremendous strides in dismantling the American people’s trust in the presidency. LBJ started it with his lies and strong-arm tactics and thinly disguised voter-buying scheme (AKA The “Great Society”) which he said would “have those niggers voting Democrat for the next 200 years.”
And, he didn’t sell his War On Poverty by showing us inner city poverty. Nope! He and theLSM propaganda arm of the Dimocrat Party (Yep! They were every bit as biased back then. They just did a better job of hiding it. After all, this was before the internet and Fox News when they had a monopoly on their propaganda.) took us to Appalachia and showed us poor white people. These were the people who were gonna be helped out by the War on Poverty. This was also when the black family was intact and illegitimacy among blacks was very low. The Great Fucking Society broke up the black family (and white families as well) and gave us over 70% illegitimacy in the black community. If the KKK wanted to destroy the black family and institutionalize poverty among blacks, they could not have done a better job than today’s Dimocrat Party. Remember, the KKK was the militant wing of the Dimocrat Party so it doesn’t surprise me what Dimocrats have done to blacks, and the booger eatin’ moh-rons in the black ghettos keep voting for more of the same. Gimme my welfare check! Gimme my Section 8 housing! Gimme my food stamps! Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! I’m entitled because my ancestors were slaves. They should get down on their knees and thank God or Allah (depending on their religion) that their ancestors were brought here as slaves and they’re not living in African slums.
Then came Nixon, the paranoid jerkwad who actually thought he could lie his way out of a scandal like a Clinton or a Soetoro.
Remember, it was three honorable Republican senators who went to the White House and asked Nixon to resign for the good of the country. The Dimocrats don’t have three honorable senators, nor an honorable president, for that matter. The red state Dimocrats running for reelection will lie about fixing or repealing Obummercare and their constituents will be dumb enough to believe them. I’m talking to you Arkansas, Louisiana, and Alaska.
Carter, of course, proved that his mother was absolutely right when she said, “When I look at my children, sometimes I say to myself, ‘Lillian, you should have remained a virgin.’”
Slick Willy, a glad-handing partier and girl-chasing philanderer, occasionally took time off from his extracurricular activities to cut enough defense spending and sell enough government land to balance the budget. Blaming him for seeking affection and sexual release outside the marital bed becomes difficult, however, when considering the personality of his legal life partner.
It shows how low his standards are that he fathered a child with Thunder Rodent Thighs and nailed Paula Jones. He was the most powerful man in the world and he settled for BJ’s from a chubby intern?
Then of course poor Dubya, at whom economics threw the dotcom bubble which it burst over his head, followed by bin Laden who threw jumbo jets at the World Trade Center, and capped off by Katrina who made him look almost as bad as Nagin and Landrieu, who told Nawlins not to worry ‘cause the levees could handle it and the buses were ready if needed.
Mayor Asshole (who got reelected) and Governor Useless (who didn’t get reelected) Nawlins was a chocolate city and Nagin was black. Whites voting for whites are racists. Blacks voting for blacks aren’t. Got that?
And finally we got a foreigner with all the patriotism of Tokyo Rose, the diplomatic aplomb of Don Rickles, and the managerial skill of Moe Howard. His major achievement to date has been the Affordable Care Act, with which he will forever be identified, and which came out of the starting gate like a beached whale.
A beached whale can be saved. Obummercare can’t.
It’s doubtful that the US presidency can ever recover from the series of direct hits inflicted by that wrecking crew. And as for improving race relations, Soetoro’s administration has improved things about the same way that ipecac improves Hawaiian Punch. Clinton was elected twice, and so was Soetoro – what does that say about the American voter?
You can fool some of the people all of the time. I call them uninformed voters.
It’s come to the point that any person who publicly announces a desire to become US president thereby automatically disqualifies himself for the position. And anyone who wants the job so badly as to spend two full years and millions of dollars campaigning for it most certainly should never be allowed to acquire it.
I’m afraid that after the debacle of Mitt Romney, who was by far the most qualified person to seek the job in the last genelec, no qualified person in his right mind would want the job even if it were offered to him as a gift. You can’t really win in that fishbowl; any success you might have would be measured only by the depth of your overall failure in the eyes of the critics and the mass media.
Fortunately for us, when the inept and unqualified Kenyan first schmoozed and putted backwards into the place, all other countries in the world were in as bad shape as we were. Had the old Soviet Union still been intact, we’d probably have been toast within the first two years. As it was, the timing was exactly right for us to survive an ignorant moron at the helm.
After Johnson, most Dimocrats wanted to surrender to the Soviet Union. Starting with Viet Nam, their supporters in Hollywood have rooted for the other side. They derided the Strategic Defense Initiative and called it Star Wars and called Reagan a cowboy. All it did was win the Cold War which they wanted us to lose. They were on the wrong side of history just like they, and a lot of politically correct Republicans, are on the wrong side of history with regards to militant Islam. I fear it will take an American city being nuked to wake up the country and to finally put aside the myth that Islam is a “religion of peace”. It never was and it never will be. And now with the resurgence of Russia, Obungler and the Dimocrats want us to lose to them just like they wanted us to lose to them during the Cold War.
And if we could read Soetoro’s private thoughts, I’m convinced we’d find out that he never actually wanted the JOB, merely the power and perks and attention that come with the title. He simply doesn’t seem to realize that the honors, the influence, the twenty-one-gun salutes, the Secret Service protection, they’re not for him personally; they’re for the Presidency.
We’ve all heard that you can tell a lot about a man by the company he keeps. In that same vein, you can tell a lot about a president by the class and caliber of the campaign he runs to get there. Equivocation, bribery, double-dealing, cheating, lying, and intimidation do not exactly equate to the smooth operation of a successful administration.
The Presidency is NOT an entry-level part-time job one gets through payoffs and fraud. Neither is it a rite of passage in self-discovery, a period when one’s principles and values “evolve” as Soetoro says his have done over the past 5 years. And by NO means should it be seen as an on-the-job-training position. Junior senators have no business running for PotUS, especially if they weren’t raised in America.
I don’t believe that Barack Hussein Obama will go gracefully into PotUS Emeritus status. Bush has been classy and refused to criticize his successor even though he was constantly under fire from him for poor judgment and bad policies. I believe Soetoro will rant and rave about anyone who follows him, especially if it’s a conservative Republican.
In fact, I predict that somewhere along the line he’ll make a remark similar to this one (not these words, but this idea): My biggest regret is that I did not develop enough control over the Congress and the Supreme Court to ensure that I would be President for Life.
It all looks like fun and games from the safety of the Senate or a state governor’s office until you get there and realize that LBJ was right: “The Presidency is like being a jackass caught in a hailstorm. You’ve got to just stand there and take it.” Of course when the stress and pain seem absolutely unbearable, you can always remind yourself that it could be worse – you could be a single mother living in a disaster area created by multiple successive liberal administrations, like Detroit.
Hey, Presidentin’s hard, guys. Don’t believe me? Just check this guy’s report card:
sotu
The real question people need to ask themselves after the platitude assault and wealth-redistribution scheme they’ll hear tonight is — Are you better off than you were 5 years ago? The greatest, most patriotic speech Soetoro could give tonight is, “Ladies and gentlemen, I’m just not very good at doing things in the real world, so effectively this evening I resign from the office of President of the United States and offer my apologies for being a self-centered, worthless, race-baiting pain in the ass.”
If only.
