It’s easy to understand why idiots like the two pictured above are in favor of yanking all those fetuses out by the roots, and chucking them in the dumpster. They want the fetus yankers’ votes.
What I don’t understand are the abortion supporters. The way they act, it goes against human nature. After an awful experience, people tend to become immune from having the same experience again. Why? Because they learned something. They learned that it was a terrible experience, and to avoid having it happen ever again. The availability of options for dealing with such an experience has become a moot point for them, because they will never have the same problem again. If given the choice, they might be in favor of others having the same options in the future as they had, but they have their own lives to deal with, and since they are not going to ever be in that position again themselves, they don’t have the time or motivation to attend rallies and such to preserve those options for others. Call it selfish, but that’s just the way most people are.
Do you think abortion supporters are concerned for people who will in the future, will be unlucky enough to find themselves in the position of having an unwanted pregnancy? Do you think that they care about the well-being of people other than themselves? I doubt it. Most of them are liberals.
If they actually cared about anyone other than themselves, they would be conservatives. Why? Because even though unwanted pregnancies are a huge problem in this country, they only directly affect a small percentage of people in this country.
Our national debt is by far, the largest problem facing our country today, and it’s consequences will be far more serious for everyone (men, women, young, and old) than an unwanted pregnancy. Most women who have had an unwanted pregnancy, eventually adjust, and get on with their lives, regardless of how they handle it. If our economy collapses, and our currency becomes worthless, there will be no adjusting and getting on with our lives (not our lives as we currently know them anyway). Plus, there will be no government money left to yank out all of those fetuses.
It can’t be that the pro-abortion people are concerned for other women that in the future, might experience an unwanted pregnancy. They’re too selfish to be concerned about something like that. Remember they’re the same ones who want everyone else to pay for their free shit.
The only possible reasons that the Pro-Do-Over people attend these pro-abortion rallies is because they are so horny, so slutty, and so stupid, that they fear that they will make the same mistake they did before, and have another unwanted pregnancy. Is it really that difficult for them to avoid getting pregnant? I bet that just about everyone knows how to avoid it. Think of all the things you do everyday, that are more difficult than avoiding pregnancy. Let’s see, in a typical day you:
- make breakfast
- get ready for work
- drive safely to work
- do whatever it is you do at your job
- drive home safely
- make dinner
- take care of whatever personal things that you need to do
Almost all of these things are always more difficult than not having unprotected sex, unless you’re some type of animal. When there’s a boar and a sow in heat together, there’s no stopping them. Maybe the Pro-Do-Over people have brains that function more like that of a pig than a human being.
Abortion is like so many other things, At first, everything was OK. By “OK”, I do not mean perfect, by any means. What I mean is that we live in an imperfect world, where we will always have to deal with problems. By “OK”, I mean that we were experiencing a problem, but at least we weren’t spending tax dollars on “solutions” that actually make the problem worse, and enrage one half of the electorate at the same time.
Liberals have taken a problem that human beings have had to deal with since the beginning of their existence, turned it into a political issue, and increased its size by at least a factor of ten. They have made things so bad, that now, making an immediate change in course is no longer a realistic solution. Where would we put, and how would we pay for the care of all those unwanted babies? Practicality has run up against morality, and it has been my experience from witnessing the world for about half a century, when that happens, practicality almost always wins.
So we are stuck between a rock and a hard place. Banning abortion, at least in the short term, would result in a shitload of unwanted babies, but ironically, abortion doesn’t solve the problem of unwanted babies, it causes it. All abortion does is, remove the consequences of irresponsible behavior. It doesn’t make anything better. Most women that had an abortion, and are willing to talk about it, will tell you that was the worst experience of their lives. Of course, none of that seems real to people not currently dealing with that problem and having unprotected sex.
Abortion is an experience that most women have to experience by themselves, with no one but maybe the one or two people closest to them for any type of comfort or support. In other words, few other people ever actually know what they had to go through except other women who have had the same experience. Because of that, the consequences of irresponsible sexual activity never seem real to others in danger of ending up in the same situation. This is the same reason why people who have never experienced a DUI conviction, are willing to risk having twelve beers and then driving home. Even though they all have buddies that got busted, they weren’t there, experiencing it with them. It’s the old “It’s not going to happen to me.” mentality.
Now what do you think would happen if people were able to “abort” DUI convictions? If after the fact, someone could pay a few hundred dollars, and if they had low incomes, have the government pay to have that DUI conviction removed? Does that sound ridiculous to you? The causes of unwanted pregnancy and drunk driving are more often than not, the same - being irresponsible, while enjoying oneself. The consequences are often the same too - the end of a life, or at least lives being forever altered. One of the main talking points of the Pro-Do-Over crowd is that an unwanted child can prevent a woman from reaching her full potential. In fact, our esteemed President said just the other day:
“Today, as we reflect on the 41st anniversary of the Supreme Court decision in Roe v. Wade, we recommit ourselves to the decision’s guiding principle: that every woman should be able to make her own choices about her body and her health. We reaffirm our steadfast commitment to protecting a woman’s access to safe, affordable health care and her constitutional right to privacy, including the right to reproductive freedom. And we resolve to reduce the number of unintended pregnancies, support maternal and child health, and continue to build safe and healthy communities for all our children. Because this is a country where everyone deserves the same freedom and opportunities to fulfill their dreams.”
Maybe that’s true, but doesn’t a DUI conviction hold back a person every bit as much as having an unwanted child? A DUI conviction doesn’t look very good on a job application, especially if that job requires a CDL. A DUI conviction can wipe out someone’s chances of ever again having a job in the career that he or she may have had for their entire adult life.
Now, no one is seriously talking about giving people the “right” to “abort” a DUI conviction, but what if we did? Do you think that would decrease the number of drunk drivers over the course of time, or do you think that somehow, it would increase the number of drunk drivers?
“Duh, uh, I never thought of it what way before.”
Of course not. That’s because you’re a stupid fucking liberal.
“But it’s not the same thing.”
It’s exactly the same thing.
Whenever you remove responsibility, whenever you eliminate consequences, whenever you give people an easy out from the results that were caused by their behavior, you will get... more of that behavior. That’s why:
- the “War on Poverty” has not reduced the poverty rate.
- extending unemployment benefits does not reduce unemployment.
- giving aid to the homeless does not reduce the number of homeless people.
- subsidies cause gluts.
- price ceilings cause shortages.
- blaming violence on something other than those who committed violent acts, does not reduce violence.
- increasing the debt ceiling does not reduce the debt.
- forcing banks to loan money to people who have no money and bad credit does not over the long term increase home ownership.
- there are more electric car, and solar power companies after a $800 billion stimulus package, until the the people running them, have ran off with the last of the money.
- unionized public schools are in the red.
- Detroit and other cities are bankrupt.
- the nicer you are to terrorists, the more they try to kill you.
Abortion is like so many other things that liberals put their slimy little hands on. They take a problem, make it worse by throwing money at it, and the whole time expect the rest of us to pay for it, and if we so much as complain about the fact that they are the primary reason that the problem has been getting worse, they call us the bad guys.
