A thought on Phil Robertson
It seems people think this is some kinda free speech issue. It's not, folks like Sarah Palin and everybody else going apeshit over this are barking up the wrong tree and frankly it makes them look bad.
The first amendment isn't there so you can say whatever you please anywhere you want without repercussions. It is there to say theGovernment may not abridge your speech.
I do not agree with A&E's decision here but nobody is squelching Phil's speech. He is still free to say whatever he wishes to say.
The company he has a contract with has obviously looked at said contract and decided it's in their best interests to suspend him if so that is their right. If not Phil has redress for that.
But for people who supposedly believe in the Constitution and freedom to conflate this deal into a First Amendment or free speech case does damage to the thing they profess to love.
The correct way in my view is to express your views to A&E and if that doesn't work you hit them in the pocketbook.Just leave the Constitution out of it please.Thank you.

Feel free to disagree in the comments this is a definite free speech zone here baby.
