The Land of Lies

If, like me, you live somewhere in the United States, chances are you are freezing your frijoles off.  Just remember, Al Gore said that, by this time, we would all be dead due to the extreme heat caused by carbon emissions.  Or aerosol spray.  Or freon gas leaked out of your AC units.  On days like this you wonder how these morons could be so wrong.

Of course, they say they’re not.  

The new description of what has been called “global warming” is now “global climate change”.  As I have noted many times before, that is an asinine statement.  “Climate”, by definition, changes.  As does the weather.  So saying we’re experiencing global climate change is like saying we’re experiencing a sun rise or a rainy day.  When we don’t, then you should be worried.

Records are being set during this particular “lag” in the so-called “warming”.  No one is bothering to note that the lag, now nearly 15 years in length, is  evidence that they’ve been horribly wrong.  Doing so might require they give back the billions of taxpayer dollars they’ve swindled, and they’re trip to Maui this summer would have to be canceled.

What a pity.

Places normally on the chilly side this time of year are colder than they have been in recent history.  Even the so-called “scientific consensus” seems to be melting as the ice packs begin to expand.  Any rational person not trying to make a buck off a colossal hoax would have to admit that temps over the past several years have been slipping downward.  If they had been alive as long as Al, they might remember that this cycle has occurred before, that we get warmer sometimes, and colder sometimes.  

It’s called “climate.”

The really sad news for us is that Al Gore and his moronic minions are not the only liars on the left.  In fact, the Pinocchio Award for this decade would have to go to none other than our Dear Leader, Barack Hussein “if you like your doctor you can keep him” Obama.  The media would have you believe that the only real issue with Obamacare is the web site.  

Nothing could be farther from the truth.   

Nearly ten million Americans have already lost their doctors, and their healthcare plans.  The plans, you see, are now illegal courtesy of Obama’s new rules.  Not just the rules that he keeps making up as he abuses his power and acts as American Dictator.  The very rules he signed into law as he was saying you could keep your plans and doctors.  In other words, it wasn’t that he didn’t know.  

He lied. 

Now the new lie is that you can keep your doctor, but you’ll just have to pay more.  The reality is that many doctors are now opting out of Obamacare, meaning you will not be able to get their services through the Obama-approved plans that you are required by law to purchase.  It won’t matter how much you are willing to pay, your plan won’t allow you to use those doctors.  Those doctors, like the plans that Obama has deemed “sub-standard”, will be illegal.

This won’t help the roughly 100 million Americans that will begin losing their plans after this January.  Those Americans are covered by employer plans that have been, or will be, cancelled because they do not meet the criteria randomly established by the infinitely knowledgable B. H. Obama.  

There is hope however.  You need only get a Union job (health care exempt from Obamacare regs), get elected to the US Congress, or get a job with Harry Reid.  Your friend and guardian Harry has managed to get an exemption for Congress and his personal staffers.  You need only get yourself into the protected fold, and you can keep your doctor, your premium, and your deductible.  Just do as they tell you, and they will do the rest for you.

Makes you feel so much better, don’t it?

Today, we are surrounded by lies, and those lies have begun defining our world.  The “fact” that man’s industrial activities has been causing a rise in the Earth’s temperature is a lie.  The “fact” that this President cares enough to ensure you have the healthcare you choose, for a price you can afford, is a lie.  In fact, the only truth to both of these lies is that they are being used to control those who believe them.
